Hurry to get your apps in on time, and then wait for months to hear back. It can be stressful, so here are a few things to keep in mind as the decision release day gets closer. Friday the 13th Decisions will be released on Friday, December 13 at 4:00 p.m. All decisions will be posted via your myIllini account, which leads me to my next tip Your myIllini Account I highly encourage you to log in to your myIllini account before December 13 to ensure you can access it. If you applied via Coalition, we have created a myIllini account for you. Your username is the email address you used when you applied. Accepting Your Offer You can accept your offer right away. Though its not required, there are some benefits to accepting your offer early on. Ultimately, you will need to make a decision no later than May 1, the National College Decision Day. Financial Aid Scholarship Information Financial aid and scholarship information will not be included in your offer of admission. That information will come to you later in the spring. You can refer to the Office of Student Financial Aid for more information. If you have not completed your FAFSA yet, I highly recommend that you do so as soon as possible.
